SASSA Takes Services to Fernie Neighborhood

Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie two Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers for the community.

SASSA are going to be rendering companies including new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, plus the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency stated it is actually alarmed in regards to the higher range of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The purpose of your Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some superior number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This can be mainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no entirely functional office focused on service the area on a regular basis. The services issue made for intervention encounters a higher inflow of possible beneficiaries, that makes it challenging for the office to attend to all people who visit a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA sassa status check will mobilise extra assets to enable the servicing of all shoppers and improve usage of Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
